What is Keshif?

Keshif is a restaurant discovery app for Istanbul. We use AI to analyze food vlogger videos on YouTube and extract restaurant recommendations, creating an interactive map of the best places to eat.

How are restaurants selected?

We don't select restaurants ourselves. Our AI watches videos from trusted food vloggers and automatically extracts which restaurants they visit, what they recommend, and their overall sentiment. The data comes entirely from real video reviews.

Do I need an account?

No. Keshif works without creating an account or logging in. Just download and explore.

Why does the app ask for my location?

Location permission is optional. If granted, it shows nearby restaurants on the map and enables the "Near Me" feature. Your location is not stored or sent to our servers.

A restaurant's information is incorrect. How can I report it?

Please email us at support@keshif.app with the restaurant name and what needs to be corrected. We'll update it promptly.

I'm a restaurant owner. Can I update my listing?

Yes! Contact us at support@keshif.app and we'll help you update your restaurant's details.

Is Keshif available outside Istanbul?

Currently, Keshif focuses on Istanbul. We plan to expand to other cities in the future.
